Chouki Ghat

Chouki Ghat, got its name from its characteristics. The Ghat has its pathways divided in four lanes, among which one diverges to Kedareshwara, second one diverges to Mansarovar, third one diverges to Sonarpura, and fourth one diverges to the steps of the Ghat. Since, Chau translates to fout in devnagari, the Ghat got its name by the crossroads divergence of its lanes. The Ghat was first developed by Kumarswamy math. The Ghat has couple of temples of lord shiva and lord Hanumana. It is believed the idol of Lord Hanumana, was established by Tulsidas himself.
