Sindhiya Ghat
The ghat got its name from the Sindhiya Dynasty of Gwalior, since the Sindhiya queen Baejabai Sindhiya initiated a development program in 1835. Although, the ghat was dismantled soon after its development, and stayed as it is till 20th century, when the heirs of Sindhiya dynasty descided to renovate it. The Ghat was called Vireshwar ghat earlier, as the temple dedicated to lord Shiva, was built over the Ghat by a man named Vireshwara in 1302. Along with the mentioned temple there are 3 more temples dedicated to lord Shiva, and a Vishnu temple called Vaikunth madhav.
